Deborah Stewart has spent her 40-year career in the healthcare industry, believing passionately in the partnership between consumers, their physicians, insurers and community-based organizations, in improving consumers’ experience as they navigate our healthcare system.
As Vice President for Wunderman Health, Deborah spent 13 years providing national and regional health insurance companies products and strategies focused on improving consumers’ experience in getting their health insurance and accessing care.
Additionally, Deborah has assisted many people to understand Medicare and other insurance options and to provide guidance in their decision process.
As she was transitioning to retirement, Deborah and her husband, Texx (retired from municipal parks and recreation managing senior centers and community programs), recognized that they could continue to help people through the Medicare process and created Deciphering Medicare, LLC.
Deborah is a life and health insurance counselor.
